Composition

1 g of the topical solution contains 195 mg of salicylic acid (Acidum salicylicum) and 98 mg of (S)-lactic acid (Acidum (S)-lacticum) and excipients: cellulose acetate phthalate, rosin, acetone, and n-butyl acetate.

Effects

Acerin Wart Remover contains two active ingredients: salicylic acid (Acidum salicylicum), which has a keratolytic effect, softening and loosening the calloused skin and facilitating its exfoliation. (S)-lactic acid (Acidum (S)-lacticum) influences the keratinisation process by reducing the excessive keratinisation of the epidermis, which is characteristic of warts. In addition, it is a corrosive agent that destroys the keratinised tissue of warts and the viruses responsible for causing them. It also has antiseptic properties.

Indications for use:

Removal of skin warts (commonly known as verrucas): common warts, periungual warts, plantar warts and mosaic warts, caused by cutaneous strains of the HPV virus. This medicinal product is indicated for use in adults, adolescents and children aged 2 years and over.

Application:

Apply Acerin Wart Remover with a brush to clean, dry skin. Apply only to the surface of the wart. Avoid contact with healthy skin, mucous membranes and eyes. Allow the medicine to dry thoroughly. Use once or twice a day. Detailed information on use is available in the leaflet.
